We offer beginner-friendly wheel classes at five levels: Taster, Intro, Four Week Intro Course (Part I, Part II), Intermediate, and Advanced. We also offer casual, social throwing classes.

The taster class is short and sweet, a nibble if you will! The intro class is longer and provides more information plus trimming. The full Four Week Course covers all basics from throwing, to turning, to glazing.
Intermediate or advanced? Our Part II class is a great way to jump in and build on your existing foundational skills. We also offer advanced workshops and term courses for those with existing foundation skills ready to continue their practice with advanced techniques.

All handbuilding classes are beginner-friendly and can be open to follow creativity or structured to make something special, like a Brekky Set.

We have three kilns on site and we fire both greenware and bisqueware from our classes, members, and the general public.
We accept drop-offs during cafe hours (Mon-Sun 7a-12p) and during pick-up times (Wednesdays 4-6p).
Have you fired your work with us? Pick-up your pieces on Wednesdays 4p to 6p or during cafe hours.
Glazing

Our team have created over 15 in house glazes for you to choose from. Using a dip or pour application, with a variety of colours to choose from, let your creativity flow. Glazing is the best way to make a piece really stand out and is necessary to make your piece functional ware (food safe).

Keen to take your skills to the next level or try something new? Our special workshops are unique full-day courses that focus on a specific technique, skill, or piece.

We regularly offer one-off kids classes and workshops around annual holidays and school holidays. For available classes, please see our pottery workshops page.
For kids aged 8-12 years, we offer handbuilding classes that range from make-a-bunny to free building where kids have a chance to experience clay play with support and supervision

For kids aged 8-12 years, we offer handbuilding classes that range from make-a-bunny to free building where kids have a chance to experience clay play with support and supervision from our skilled instructors.
For kids aged 12+ years, we offer handbuilding and wheel throwing classes. Due to the size of the wheel and strength required to safely manage clay on the wheel, we are unable to wheel throwing for younger kids.
Of noting:
- All children under the age of 16 require parent supervision onsite
- Our skilled instructors are Blue Card holders
- Enrolment in kids courses are restricted to kids only (of course!)
