Common Ground Exhibition

 Our Space Brisbane is thrilled to host it's first ever exhibition, Common Ground, to support emerging and established artists, and celebrate Our Space turning 4. The exhibition 'Common Ground' will be held over three days Friday 28th August - Sunday 30th August, with an opening night celebration on Friday 28th August.

There will be a $1500 First Place Prize and $500 Emerging Artist Prize up for grabs on the opening night. Winners will be announced on the opening night, 28th August. 

This is a fantastic opportunity to see some amazing artworks, support local artists and learn from some incredibly talented artists. 

'Common Ground' theme; Common Ground is an exploration of the spaces, rituals, and relationships that cultivate a sense of belonging. Through sculpture, painting, and object-making, the artists consider community not simply as an abstract idea, but as something slowly built through shared experience, care, repetition, and joy. Community is shaped by local identity and the spaces in which we gather and connect. In a world that can at times feel increasingly divisive, creativity offers a shared humility and a way to find common ground.
